The Suffolk Investors Forum help clients raise mainly in the range of £100,00 to £2,000,000,usually through private investors. We are the most successful finder of such funds in thecountry, through careful selection and preparation of clients and our understanding of investors needs.
  •  Firstly we will review the business plan and meet the management team. 
     Where we believe we can find the right investor among our 700 or so personal 
     contacts, we can  advise on the business plan and the deal structure
  •  Then, when we have an investment proposal that is sensible for our
    client and sufficiently attractive to investors, we will market the business.
  •  We market our clients through presentation at investment forums and 
    direct personalcontact with investors based on our close knowledge of their 
    needs - this is the key to our success.
  •  We mail a regular coat trailer, 'Stop Press', to our investors and other 
    contacts - over 1700.  We hold Investor Fairs where our clients can meet directly 
    with investors.
  •  Our aim is for our clients to meet as many potential investors as 
    possible, as quickly as possible.
  •  We then, through our secretariat ad professional advisors project 
    manage to completion. This can include the investor negotiations, and advice
    on the legal formalities - indeed everything that needs to be done to ensure a 
    satisfactory conclusion - that is where our extensive experience in venture 
    capital comes into its own.
Our fees are mainly success based - with a percentage in cash and option shares based
onthe amount of funding we introduce.  There is a retainer fee to reflect expenses and 
work required to prepare the proposal for marketing.
